This text is totally based on preliminaries study of fluid Dynamics and convection. how heat transfer happen in high temperature boiler, chemical plant where heat transmission is associated with mass Diffusion, convective mass transfer .

Mode of Heat Transfer 


 This mode of heat transfer occurred in solids by the two  mechanism first one is physical contact and second one is lattice vibrations of atoms. in metal most of atoms occupies their place strongly itself. so lattice vibrations is less hence upto 90 percent Heat conducted by physical contact of metal. Whereas in composite materials heat is conducted by lattice vibrations.


This is useful text of this book. in heat transmission by adrian bejan, convection mode is very well explained. convection occur due to density difference in liquids and gases only. when the atoms heated they loose their weight, density. hence buoyancy is predominated as compared to gravity, this will cause the displacement of atoms from higher temperature to lower temperature and hence setup the convection current


Most of heat reach in earth from sun in the from radiation. radiation does not require any medium(solid, liquid, gas) to travel. heat is transmitted in the form Quanta (The small packets of energy) by the Electromagnetic waves However this text is not available in this manual for reading this text you need to prefer neat tranfer by jp hollman which is also available in this blog.
